The NAPA AutoCare Peace of Mind Warranty

The NAPA AutoCare Peace of Mind Warranty provides 24 Months/24,000 miles of coverage for qualifying services and repairs on consumer-owned, non-commercial vehicles up to 1 ton. This warranty is a consumer warranty and covers all parts and labor on covered services and repairs and is valid outside a 25-mile radius from the original repairing NAPA AutoCare Center. Should a consumer need warranty service and for some reason cannot return to the original repairing facility, the consumer would call 1-800-452-NAPA (6272) and be directed to a nearby NAPA AutoCare Center.

The Magnuson-Moss Act

As a consumer, the Magnuson-Moss Act gives you these rights:

  • Your vehicle manufacturer's warranty cannot restrict you to returning to your auto dealer for vehicle maintenance - or to only using the brand of replacement parts offered by that dealer.
  • By law, your vehicle manufacturer's warranty will stay in effect when you have regularly scheduled maintenance performed at a qualified facility, like our NAPA AutoCare Center, that uses appropriate parts and procedures.

AAA Member Benefit Warranty

Approved repair facilities in the AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program have been inspected and certified by AAA to meet stringent quality standards in the areas of: community reputation, facility appearance, customer service, staff qualifications and training, and tools and equipment.

AAA requires that the Approved Facility will guarantee/warranty their repair(s) for both parts and labor, for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) under normal operating conditions. C.J.'s Beach Bays will provide 24 months/24,000 miles of coverage for qualifying services and repairs on consumer owned vehicles for all customers that have a valid AAA membership.

If, before work begins on the vehicle, due to vehicle condition or Customer Instruction, there is potential that the Repair Services may not be wholly satisfactory and therefore cannot be guaranteed/warranted, the Approved Facility will notify the customer immediately and document the lack of guarantee/warranty in writing on the Repair Invoice. If the Approved Facility sublets any portion of a vehicle repair, it shall still be held totally responsible for the repair of that vehicle. Should problems arise involving sublet work, the Approved Facility shall be the customer's sole point of contact for obtaining any remedies that may be required.
