Karen L. Bethard
Service Advisor
Karen has been with C.J.'s Beach Bays since July 2005. Karen's experience in the automotive industry started when the former owner, Clifford Todd, hired Karen as a Service Advisor at Toddy's Auto Center. She has been assisting customers with their automotive repair needs for 10 years. Her customer service career started 22 years ago and continues today. Beach Bays and the customers have come to know Karen and appreciate her pleasant, professional personality.

Robert "Bob" Clarke
Senior Technician
Bob has been with C.J.'s Beach Bays since July 2005. Bob has over 35 years of experience in the auto repair business. He began working on cars while taking four years of auto repair in high school in northern Delaware. His auto repair career includes working at a Chevrolet Dealership, Transmission Shop, and various Independent Shops repairing all domestic cars and trucks. His work history also includes working for a Saab Service Shop that specialized in Saab service and repair. After gaining knowledge of foreign car repairs, he opened a repair business of his own specializing in Saab repairs in New Castle County, Delaware. His love of the water and fishing led him to the Lewes/Rehoboth area where he was hired by Clifford Todd as a technician at Toddy's Auto Center. Bob's many years of skillful experience continues to be a benefit to Beach Bays.
Ira "Al" Garbutt, IV
Senior Technician
Al has been with C.J.'s Beach Bays since February 2008. Al lives in Lewes with his wife and kids and is an ASE Master Certified Technician with Advanced L1 Certification and has many years of experience. He started working on cars when he was 16 and soon decided to make it his career. After graduating from Delaware Technical Community College with a degree in Auto Mechanics he started an internship at Andell's Garage in Lewes. Once he obtained four years of experience, he started working at Wright Chrysler/Jeep in Lewes and was employed there for the next 25 years until they closed in 2008. Al's "can do" attitude started his career over 30 years ago and is an asset to Beach Bays and our customers today.
